Blanca González Alba, MSc
I am a PhD student specializing in immunology here at the LMU. I graduated with an MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology from this university and hold a BSc in Biomedicine from Queen Mary University of London. Currently, my PhD focuses on C-type lectins, particularly MINCLE, and their roles in immune responses. I am particularly interested in the therapeutic potential of newly discovered mechanisms and targets. Outside the lab, I enjoy helping other students, cooking from scratch, singing karaoke, learning new languages and cultures, and exploring new places on foot.

Ich bin Doktorandin in Infektionsimmunologie an der LMU. Ich habe an dieser Universität einen MSc in Molekular- und Zellbiologie und einen BSc in Biomedizin von der Queen Mary University of London erworben. Derzeit befasse ich mich in meiner Doktorarbeit mit C-Typ-Lektinen, insbesondere MINCLE, und ihrer Rolle bei Immunreaktionen. Ich interessiere mich besonders für das therapeutische Potenzial neu entdeckter Mechanismen und Targets. Außerhalb des Labors helfe ich gerne anderen Studenten, koche, singe Karaoke, lerne neue Sprachen und Kulturen und entdecke neue Orte zu Fuß.
